When I started my Virtual Assisting business almost 2 years ago I saw success FAST. Within eight days of starting the business I signed my first client. Two weeks later, I left my corporate job. Another two weeks and I had the clients (and income) to replace my 9-5 salary. Within months, I added contractors to my team, took on more clients and scaled to 10K+ months. When people hear about this, they always want to know HOW I did it. HOW I landed so many clients so quickly, HOW I figured out when to bring on my first team members, HOW I created raving fans that kept sending me burning hot leads and HOW I was always full and on a waiting list. If there’s 1 thing I’ve learned to do well as an online entrepreneur it’s attracting and signing clients. And y’all…paying clients are what takes you from an expensive hobby to a real, big girl business. So today, I’m sharing my 5 foolproof ways to land your first or next virtual client. They’re the ways I found my first clients, the ways I tell my clients to look for clients, and when you commit to them and

3 Ways to Be Resourceful AF to Set You Apart From Your Competition
At least once a week I hear or read someone say “OMG the done-for-you service-provider market is so saturated, there’s not enough room for me”. And I always answer the same way. “True, the market IS saturated because the barrier-to-entry is so low and anyone can show up and start a business online in 2.2 seconds. But do you want to know what the market ISN’T saturated with? HIGH QUALITY service providers”. And y’all. That’s the truest truth I’ve ever truthed ;). Go spend a minute in an online entrepreneurial Facebook group and ask people for their service-provider experiences. Most will say they’ve been through a whole handful of horror stories before finally finding their unicorn. Saturated market? Yes. Saturated with high-quality providers? Obviously not. If you’re one of those service providers you’re probably now thinking one of the following: How do I know if I’m a high-quality provider? What skills does a high-quality provider have? How do I get those skills so I can be a unicorn? And per usual, I’ve got your back on this one. First, I need you understand that your potential clients are looking to hire you for 1 of 2 reasons. They either don’t

5 Ways to Repurpose Your Content (+ Get Off the Content Creation Hamster Wheel!)
Here’s a list of things that are true if you want to start or scale an online business (and actually make money doing it): You have to create content You have to create value based content You have to create promo based content Now listen, I am not going to lie. Content creation can feel like a big ol’ beast of a task, especially if writing does not come naturally to you (raises hand). And while you can’t get around making the time to plop your cute little tush into a chair to write, you CAN start repurposing what you write so that you don’t have to do it so dang much. One of the biggest mistakes I see folks making in their online businesses is not repurposing their content. They write different content for Instagram than they do for Facebook, their newsletters, their blog posts and their LIVES. It’s no wonder people get burned out so quickly in the online space…it’s almost impossible to keep up with the number of platforms to post on if you don’t reuse and repurpose. So, if you don’t have a plan to repurpose your content so you can get off the content creation

3 Ways to Get Clients (+ Make Money) as a Virtual Assistant
I started my Virtual Assisting business in March of 2017 and within 4 weeks I had filled my roster and replaced my 9-5 income 🎉. Online businesses are popping up each day, and the need for Virtual Assistants will only grow as more of our world population comes online. So, you’re probably thinking “yeah that’s cool Sara, but how do I replicate your success and make money with MY Virtual Assistant business?”. I’ve gotcha girl! Here are 3 ways to get clients (+ make money) as a Virtual Assistant: 1. Hang out in Facebook groups. This is my #1 tip and it’s so successful you should be RUNNING to Facebook right now. Go find some entrepreneurial Facebook groups (here are a few suggestions: 1,2,3). Hang out in there to understand who is there and what their business needs are. When someone asks for a recommendation for a VA, respond! When someone asks for tech help (something that often happens in these groups) help them! When one of these group members runs a free challenge, ENTER IT! That’s actually how I got my first 2 clients, just by entering a challenge and giving tons of free value. 2. Use your network. I

How to Start Your Virtual Assistant Business
Just before my 31st birthday, I took a leap of faith by leaving my safe corporate job and starting my own Virtual Assistant business. With a 16 month old on my hip, I hustled and was quickly making MORE than I was at my corporate job. I believe so strongly in the power of women, and that we can do ANYTHING that we want. For me, that meant raising a business and a baby at the same time. After transitioning my business to offer Online Business Management and Event Planning services (and growing my income substantially), I started helping other moms start and scale their own Virtual Assisting businesses. So today I’m sharing the first 4 steps in starting YOUR virtual assistant business. Let’s get to it, friend! 1. Decide on your starting hourly rate Hourly rates vary greatly depending on the industry that you’re serving. In the industry that my team and I support (online business owners), Virtual Assistants charge anywhere from $20-$75 per hour depending on their skills. Start at a price point that you feel comfortable charging AND that is enough money that it’s worth your time. Then, up your prices by $5/hour every 1-2 clients. 2.
