I spent 8 years as a corporate event planner, climbing the ladder fast.

It was intense, demanding work that on the outside sounded pretty damn impressive: I had my own office, a fancy title and a 140% salary increase all before I turned 30.

Fast forward to my leaky boobs.

But in 2017, after the birth of my son Max, all that “success” started to crack.

I was missing birthdays, weddings… even a funeral—because asking for time off wasn’t “professional.”

Then I got called away on a 48-hour trip when Max was just 13 months old.

I spent the whole weekend breast-pumping in hotel bathrooms, crying over my leaky boobs, and thinking:

I didn’t work this hard to miss my own life.

So I quit.

And I started a Virtual Assisting business.
